Narendra Kumar kickstarted the Lakme Festive/ Winter 2010-11 with a collection titled Sounds of Mumbai paying a special tribute to the women of Mumbai.
The outfits moved from strong and structured to fluid drapes in the course of the show. The fabrics though were varied throughout the collection. While raw silk, tussar, organza, organic cotton silk and georgette dominated the formal day wear and lounge section, the silk taffeta, satin silk and organza were used in the evening wear section.
