Grazia & Bazaar uncovered

Ok so glad to see the magazines out in time. Twinkle unexpected in a way for a mag cover but considering its the luxe issue not unexpected.

Dont fancy the dress or the way twinkle looks at all. Thought the shot actually made her look more voluptous than she is.

Grazia on the other hand has Monikanagan on the cover and wow truly chic. Seems like she's styled keeping her character from Guzaarish in mind. But what the heck I always love Victorian looks with some drama in the hair & lace & embroidery et all.Girls watch this issue out for all those must have accessories!

P.S. Just saw a glimpse of teh Vogue cover with Priyanka Chopra and what a downer.Also don't forget the catch the Dia Mirza Pakeezah styled feature in the Bazaar issue this month.

Harpers Bazaar October 10

Ok so the October issue i sthe BIG FAT issue for most magazines. So you will have absolute eye candies on the cover this month.

Here is the Harpers Bazaar issue with Katrina looking fab in a subtle & pretty Dior dress. Truly love it!
Psst... Katrina is a safe bet for them considering she was also on their March Anniversary cover with Hritik.

COVER WARS

Ok so here are all the covers for September and I will tell you which one gets us Smitten

Vogue: While the editor tried really hard to make us guess who will be on the cover it was none other than Bipasha Basu. The fittest one in the business and who means business. Not smitten at all and especially with that pose.

Harpers: Promising & delivering great fashion as always. Love the dress but don't know why just feel the hair is not right and kind of takes away from the dress.

Verve also has Deepika on the cover and must say looking smoking hot. We love. Think its an Anamika Khanna dress

Cosmopolitan has Katrina sans the cleavage. Wonder why they are moving away from what they are known for. For a Sept fashion issue disappointed with its simplicity

Hi Blitz has Lara striking a pose like an Apsara. It was actually a surprise for us. We never thought she would do Indian so well.

So guys which one is your fav?

BAZAAR JULY - AUG Uncovered

Bazaar India cover does look fab with Kangana in Gucci Spring 10. Love the close up shot unlike a lot of other fashion magazines.

Cant wait to read it.

Battle of the Titles

As I read magazine after magazine I see so many reports and fashion pages that are just not comprehend able. While the fashion week recap is made easy for the readers I wonder what were the magazines thinking while shooting some of the inside pages like these



Who follows this fashion?

Vogue the fashion bible as its called, the 'it' fashion magazine has just so much of it that it can actually cause nausea.


Marie Claire - different, has substance, but far from fashion.(Please stop calling yourself a fashion magazine);


Grazia - chic; high street, relatable;


Bazaar - fashion simplified; easy.


Elle - lost.

Cosmopolitan - wheres the fashion? The cleavage is so overpowering that one cannot look beyond.

While each one attempts to claim the highest readership and circulation don't know which one actually thinks of what the reader wants.
If only magazines understood that consumers don't know fashion, they actually read magazines to know how fashion can be simplified for them. Or how they can get fashion that's easy on the pocket as well. Our magazines are so stuck in chasing what they wish to sell vs. what the customer wants to buy in these cash crunched times.
So all you fashion mags... go back to your readers and ask them what they really want and you are sure to win the battle of the titles.
