Sonam Kapoor - Right always

This girl seems to get it right all the time. There is this strange effervescence about her that makes everything look wonderful on her. Of course she rarely goes wrong with any appearance that she makes. Be it covers, events, movies or the red carpet. She is always right almost...

Aishwariya Rai - Hello

Though not a fan of Ash at all, but this time got to admit you ought to be smitten by her beauty. Make up artist Subu(Subhash Wagal) has done a fab job in showing us the real ash sans her plastic appeal. She looks nothing less than gorgeous.
Have to read the full article in Hello to see how true is she in her words with Shobha De

Eat Pray Love - Inspired fashion

Julia Roberts’s newest flick, Eat, Pray, Love (based on Elizabeth Gilbert’s best-selling book), is sure to be a study in global style as her character travels across Italy, India and Indonesia.

This rage of wooden beaded necklaces and turquoise accents and wristfuls of brightly colored bohemian bracelets is sure to catch on soon. We are not new to the beads cause its all India inspired.

Check out the trailer of this film on the link

Everyone’s wearing Lanvin’s white hot dress

We all know that lovely little bow-tied Alber Elbaz creates the most show stopping, flattering and all round gorgeous dresses at Lanvin.

Most of his runway collection frocks end up on the bods of beauties like Tilda Swinton, Carey Mulligan or Audrey Tautou. But there’s been one dress in particular this season that has seen more A-Lister mileage than a pair of Louboutin PrivĂ© pumps – it’s the white, one shouldered, super sized frilled asymmetric sheath.

Sounds kinda tricky to wear on paper, but in real life, the dress is more of an off-white (which is far more flattering for all skin tones) and the little exposed side seams, bodiced top and ruching on the skirt are all great for nipping this and covering up that.

Not that Kim Catrall, Michelle Williams or Katherine Jenkins need worry about lumps and bumps. But for ladies who do, Lanvin’s beautifully cut dresses are the best.

Spotted this at French Connection, sans the one shoulder its almost there in style & a lot easier in the pocket as well! Its the Wizard Wonder Frill dress

The Big Necklace!

This year, it's all about the big, bold and beautiful when it comes to accessories. The more exotic and outrageous the better! I'm loving this trend because that means I don't have to buy a lot of new clothes to be stylish this year. I can pair my t-shirt and jeans with a big chunky necklace for an instant trendy look. Or use that same chunky necklace and pair it with a simple black dress.

The Runway Look :

So..sometimes the things off the runway is either out of our budget or way too crazy to wear in the office and in everyday life. Here's some examples of my interpretation of this trend to make it more wearable.

The trend

1. Ethnic

2. Bib Necklaces: makes it look part of the dress

3. Pearls

4. Floral motifs

Celebs with Big necklaces!

One celeb who truly sported it this season is Kim Kardashian

The "Eva Mendes
Golden Globes" Look
Eva Mendes
wowed the crowd at the Golden Globes this year with her simple white Dior, paired with the fabulous Van Cleef and Arpels turquoise bib necklace. The dress was pretty, but I don't think it would have been the same without the necklace. It definitely completed her look.

Get great new looks that are easy on your pocket and so summery. Buy these of at Colaba cause
way or Janpath. These are sure to get you noticed!!!
